Witches in Fiction 2014 Crafting Blooming Howls & Giveaway

Dear friends,

Welcome to my post for Pagan Culture's Witches in Fiction Party 2014!  Crafting Blooming Howls!

October is a busy as a bee month for many pagans, witches, warlocks, enchantresses, fortune tellers and assorted creatures of the night.

In light of the madness of the Halloween season, I thought I'd share what a professional witch, working psychic, and full time fourth year university student gets up to during the month.

I welcomed the month of October by spending oodles of time in the woods, I am a forest witch and you will rarely get me to leave my beloved woodland!

Unless of course theres the promise of some shopping in the city..

And catching an NBA game where my favourite team is playing (Boston Celtics).

Aside from woodland adventures and city travels it has been business as usual around here.

Studies and scrying...

Reading Tarot...

Speaking to spirits...

And snuggling up to watch oodles of Disney Halloween films!

Thank you so much to Magaly for hosting this party!  Don't forget to hop on over to her page to visit her party and everyone else's.

Without further ado...

I am holding this giveaway on my blog, Instagram, and Facebook.  There are three prizes and you can enter once for each prize on each of those platforms (Instagram and Facebook pages are linked on the right side at the top of this blog).  If entering on Facebook or Instagram please like or follow to enter.  On the blog you don't have to be a follower, though it would be cool if you wanted to!

To enter leave a comment saying which of the three (or if you want to enter for all three feel free) you'd like to win and leave an email address or blog link so I can contact you.  For the Instagram and Facebook entries follow the guidelines listed along with the above picture on those platforms!  Winners chosen on October 31st!

Prizes:

1) Hercules the Keyholder Goblin - a handmade creature from the Goblin Mine Woodland

2) A personalized energy blessing performed by myself

3) A 3 card oracle reading performed by myself

Blessings and best of luck!

I love to see what other Witches do for Halloween. I, too, find myself spending more time in the woods around this time of the year--the dirt smells better, the wind whispers secrets, and the trees are all so willing to show off their colors... so much magic.

I will be greedy, so I'm entering for everything *cough*.

Here is my email: magalyguerrero @ live . com

I shall fly over to Facebook.

I have to say: I love your hair! It's so pretty in that first picture.

Which are the Halloween Disney movies you are watching? Cause I'm always looking for more Halloween movies :)

I'm neither on Instagram or Facebook - I can't even keep track of all these social forums! But I'm joining here :)

I have not made it into the woods yet but I have had my toes in the dirt, and aren't disney halloween movies the best :-)

Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us! I'm with Ms Misantropia, your hair is gorgeous. It must be something in the air, but Disney Halloween movies seem to be just what the Dr ordered right now.

The goblin would be fought over by three grandchildren, so my household is not a safe place for him ;) I love your bedroom. It looks so cozy & inviting.

I do so envy those of you in the northern hemisphere and your gorgeous autumnal woods at Halloween! *le sigh*

I very much enjoyed seeing what your month of October looks like! :)

Thank you for taking us for a walk through your day. The city picture was easily my favorite, because the magic in a city plays hide and seek with you. While I'm not able to enter for the giveaways this year, your prizes are both a perfect fit to Magaly's party, and deliciously unique. And thank you for stopping by my Study; I'm following your blog as of now.

Visiting from Magaly's party.
Isn't she the BEST?!?!?!!!
I follow by bloglovin'. GFC didn't like me. I am also a new follower on FB.

I wish I had a great scrying ball like the one in your photo.
The way my October is going, I could use a blessing.

Ok, I know I should be saying I am not entering for everything, BUT I REALLY WANT TO WIN IT ALL, so much for sharing LOL... Loved the post, cool to meet you, and which movies have you lined up for your Halloween moviefest? I read a reveiw for Babbadook(?) a recent Aussie film, think I will try to get a copy of that... Happy WIF 2014 and thanks for having me :)

Ooooohhhh how fun!!! I would simply adore a reading from you! I am already a follower and have been for some time, both your blog and instagram. Count me in, fingers crossed!
Loving all the beautiful pictures you post, so mystical and magical. This is the time of year that I long for an East Coast season more than anything! It still feels like summer out here in California. Oh well, I am making it Fall anyway, lots of Halloween decor up and a monster party planned for the end of the month.
Blessings to you!
Tricia

What a great giveaway! I think your is a bit out of the ordinary. It would be very exciting to get a 3 card oracle reading :-)
I'm also a witch, not with spells or psychic readings, but with herbs and healing. I also love to walk in the woods and my heaven is a tiny cottage in the deep forest we try to visit on weekends.

Jen! You are so beautiful! THE most beautiful witch I have EVER seen, indeed! A busy witch too. ;) My husband is from Boston so of course, the Celtics team is the only basketball team we are allowed to mention in our household! Ooh...a give away...I'd love Hercules the Keyholder Goblin. Hope I win! xoxo Jen

I love getting these glimpses into your witchy life. Do you think you'd do a blog post on your University studios at all? I'd love to know a little more about it (which probably makes me sound super nosey!) :-)
